Our teammates, Sam, Mike, Meredith, and I have done our art project group work. We dicided to use a slideshow as our media. Whole procedure was like this. Sam wrote the basic script which provided a core story of out project. Mike took pictures to make slide show. Meredith edited the whole slideshow and I gave music for it. In fact, I've never collaborated with artists besides musicians. Thus, this project looked very new and interesting till the Tuesday which was 3 days before our due. I usually spend 2 weeks including mixing and finalizing for my work at least. Unfortunately, I had 4 hours to write a song for our project. It was not even close to enough.
So I decided not to redo any step during writing. For instance, I go with any idea I came up with even though I don't really really like it for time sake. When I first looked at Mike's photos, I came up with a couple of ideas. The first one was a Nintendo sounding song because our protagonist was a cuddy teddy-bear which reminded me my childhood. The other song was a sad dark hip-hop song. My teammates liked the second one a lot. I thought the second one was better too.
